Dr. Polonski is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who has an interest in both functional and cosmetic oculoplastics. After receiving his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Bronx, New York, Dr. Polonski completed a transitional residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center of Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals of Cleveland. Following his residency, he also completed an oculoplastics preceptorship at St. John's Westshore Hospital in Westlake, Ohio. He performs topical clear cornea cataract extraction, glaucoma filtration surgery, and corneal transplant surgery. While in private practice, he had extensive training in refractive surgery, certified on both VISX and Nidek Refractive Laser Systems, along with the Moria's MicroKeratome. While in Ohio, Dr. Polonski was performing both PRK and LASIK for patients with myopia, astigmatism, and hyperopia refractive errors before moving to Tucson in October 2000.

Dr. Polonski is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
