As a fellowship trained glaucoma specialist, Dr. Tsai manages a variety of adult glaucomas using medical, laser and surgical treatment methods.
After receiving his bachelor degree at Stanford University, Dr. Tsai attained a Masters in Health Administration from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at J. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Tsai then completed a fellowship in glaucoma at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dr. Tsai joined University Physicians Healthcare August 2009 and is a member of the hospital staff of University Medical Center, University Physicians Hospital and University Physicians Outpatient Surgery Center.

Dr. Tsai is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
