The Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science offers refractive surgery for those who want to become less dependent on eyeglasses and contact lenses.

The process begins with a refractive surgery consult with our LASIK surgeon to evaluate each individual’s health, visual potential and lifestyle prior to recommending the best surgical procedure. With the improved diagnostic and laser technology, there are more options available to those who previously were not good candidates for refractive surgery.
